COMM 410 - Accounting Information Systems For fourth-year accounting concentrators, this course provides a broad overview of both manual and computerized accounting information systems. Discusses strategies and risks that a business faces and how an organization builds accounting systems and controls to help achieve those strategies and properly manage those risks. Major topics include business transactions on the Internet, electronic commerce, electronic data interchange, transaction processing, internal controls, application controls, fraud, and data security.
