EDIS 774 - Practicum in Remedial Reading

A comprehensive practicum sequence requiring supervised assessment of children and adolescents. Deals with nature and causes of reading disabilities and related learning problems, procedures and methods of diagnosis, including standardized and informal measures. Intended to fulfill practicum requirements for certification and degree programs. NOTE: This course is a clinical practicum. Children attend from July 11th to July 29th. (SS)

Prerequisite: EDIS 573, 574, 770, 772, and permission of instructor. Enrollment limited to graduate students in Reading Education.
