ENSP 355 - Medievalism in Modern Popular Culture This course explores medieval themes and the use of the Middle Ages in contemporary fiction and film. Students study several short medieval works in translation, popular novels like Crichton’s Eaters of the Dead, and films such as Monty Python and the Holy Grail, focusing on the way modern medievalism helps fashion modern identity.
