Combination Degree Programs

The multi-disciplinary ethos of the School of Architecture offers unique opportunities for students to structure and pursue combination (formerly termed “dual”) graduate degrees. Combination degrees are offered with a Master of Architectural History, Master of Landscape Architecture, and Master of Urban and Environmental Planning  Master of Urban Design (Applications are currently paused for Master of Urban Design Program). Pursuing a combination degree requires admission to each program, meeting the appropriate requirements. Path 2 students can expect to earn a combination degree in Architecture and Landscape Architecture within three and a half academic years and Path 3 students in four and a half academic years. For all combination degree programs, the student will complete the required curriculum and a minimum of 30 credits for each degree, for a total of at least 60 credits in the School of Architecture. Students interested in pursuing a combination degree should consult with the Graduate Program Director of each program.
