Master of Arts
Of the 30 credits required for the degree, students are expected to complete a minimum of 24 credits of graded coursework, , including one three- or four-credit, 5000- or 7000-level, non-seminar course each in atmospheric sciences (EVAT), ecology (EVEC), geosciences (EVGE) and hydrology (EVHY), as well as one course related to environmental skills. Students must take at least one 3- or 4-credit non-seminar tools course. Students are expected to enroll in the Department Seminar (EVSC 7092) at least once, and this course will be counted only once toward the graded credit requirement. Students may enroll in up to two courses outside of EVSC with approval from their advisor. Students are expected to write and publicly defend a thesis. Courses
