Pan University Minor in Public Humanities in Place
The pan-university minor in Public Humanities in Place will introduce undergraduate students to the importance of place and story in the shaping of the American imagination. As our national discourses become increasingly polarized, and our lives are more digital and disembodied, this minor offers undergraduate students an introduction to strategies that reground, repair, and renew communities and our imagination for localities, and the importance of the humanities in restoring the fabric of everyday life. Professor Louis Nelson currently serves as the Director of this 5-course (15 credits) minor. Students interested in enrolling in the minor should contact the Director.
