Placement
All first-year students who present secondary-school credits in Latin and who wish to take one of the first- or second-year courses in Latin are placed on the basis of scores from the Educational Testing Service SAT II Latin Test. Those who enter without having taken this test are required to take an on-line placement diagnostic administered by the Department of Classics. To register for the placement ediagnostic, contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Classics.
