Degree Requirements

Master of Arts

Of the 30 credits required for the degree, students are expected to complete a minimum of 24 credits of graded coursework, including MDST 8000 - Media, Culture & Technology , MDST 8001 - Histories of Media Technologies, MDST 8003 - Methods of Media Research, MDST 8966 - Master’s Thesis Development, and MDST 8999 - Master’s Thesis Writing and Research.

Students are expected to write and defend a thesis.
