Certificate Requirements

Graduate Certificate in American Studies

Students are expected to complete a minimum of 12 credits of graded coursework on American topics, including AMST 8001 (Seminar in American Studies) and three credits of coursework offered outside the department or program in which the student is enrolled.  All coursework is subject to approval by the student’s faculty advisor in American Studies.
