Master of Fine Arts
Of the 72 credits required for the degree, students are expected to complete a minimum of 60 graded credits at or above the 5000 level for the Professional Actor Training Program and the concentrations in Lighting Design and Scenic Design & Technical Production and a minimum of 72 graded credits at or above the 7000 level for the concentration in Costume Design & Technology. Students are expected to complete a training sequence prescribed by the faculty director of their respective fields which integrates coursework and production, including public performance for actors.
Students are expected to pass first- and second-year reviews and a comprehensive oral examination.
Students are expected to submit a thesis or creative project.
