An application for the minor is available in Campbell Hall, Room 120A. Upon completion of all requirements, the signature of the respective department chair must be obtained.

Requirements

A minor in historic preservation requires 15 credits with a minimum grade of C-, nine of which must be from among the following courses in the foundations of preservation core: AR H 590 & 592, 381,382,383, 384, 982; ARCH 511; L AR 512, 513; and PLAN 530. Six credits from among more specialized preservation courses are also required. These include the following: AR H 371, 585; L AR 514, 523, 527; PLAC 534, 565; and PLAN 534, 551. Any other courses will require approval of the director.
