The Data Science Institute (DSI), located in Olsson Hall, is an institute for large scale, complex data analysis. It represents a unique confluence of computation, science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, commerce, social science, humanities, and law. The DSI offers the M.S. in Data Science, an 11-month professional master’s program. Students who have questions regarding the following degree requirements and policies should consult the program director. Should clarification or an exception be required, the program director will raise the issue with the DSI Director. For serious matters that cannot be resolved in this fashion, students have recourse to a formal appeal and grievance procedure outlined below.
