LAW 7162 - International Finance Effective Date 05/04/2017 This course will examine the regulation of international finance and how that regulation affects cross-border financial activities and transactions. After an introduction to the history of modern international finance and regulatory cooperation efforts, it will cover U.S. and European regulation of cross-border banking and securities, capital adequacy rules, financial derivatives, sovereign debt restructurings, and other selected topics.
