LAW 9205 - Crimmigration Law: Law & Policy at Intersect of Immigr Law & Crim Just Effective Date 01/01/2023 This course addresses the intersection of the immigration and criminal justice systems, focusing on: 1) the effect of criminal convictions on noncitizens’ immigration status; 2) the criminalization of immigration law violations; and 3) immigration officials’ adoption of surveillance and enforcement tactics used to police crime.
