LAW 7055 - International Human Rights Law Effective Date 08/01/2012 This course focuses on the theory and practice of international human rights law including the basic principles as well as the international mechanisms and institutions established in the past half-century to protect human rights. The difficulties involved in converting those principles into practice and the effectiveness of different ways of using international human rights law to further human rights protection will also be explored.
