Introduces key thinkers and schools of political philosophy, theory, and thought of the classical, Hellenistic, and early Medieval period of Western civilization. Specific focus is given to the political thought of thinkers such as Sophocles, Thucydides, Aristotle, Plato, Aristotle, the Cynics, the Stoics, the Epicureans, and St. Augustine of Hippo.
