CLAS 3100 - Age of Odysseus Effective Date 08/01/2010 Studies the literature, culture, history, art, and religion of the times of the Homeric epics (Bronze Age to circa 700 b.c.). Readings include Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, The Homeric Hymns, and Hesiod’s Theogony and Works and Days. Some emphasis on the archaeology of Mycenaean sites.
