PHYS 6251 - Light and Optics I Effective Start Date: 05/01/2011 This course focuses on concepts in light and optics I covering topics such as light rays, images, shadows, reflection and refraction and is designed to be taken by inservice K-5 teachers . The material is introduced from a historical perspective The course is unique in that it requires students to complete and write-up 5 light and optics experiments. Prerequisites: undergraduate degree or permission from instructor.
