CJ 5810 - Solving Ethical Dilemmas in Law Enforcement Effective Start Date: 03/01/2009 Provides the law enforcement leader/practitioner with the opportunity to examine, evaluate and research the most complex and current ethical dilemmas in the law enforcement profession. After properly categorizing and understanding the dilemmas, the students will use existing research to diagnose, analyze, and compare existing and creative solutions, and subsequently discuss and defend their conclusions. Within every dilemma, the themes of best practices in ethical behavior and successful decision making processes will be assessed.
