LAW 9205 - Immigration Enforcement Effective Start Date: 05/01/2013 This seminar will explore how immigration enforcement unfolds within the United States. We will examine how localities, states, and the federal government have responded in dynamic and at times contradictory ways to the presence of immigrants. We will also examine how immigration status shapes doctrinal developments in areas such as civil rights, access to courts, detention, and criminal procedure.
