MAE 4270 - Experimental Robotics Effective Start Date: 08/01/2021 Mechanical design and build of a robot complete with sensors and actuators. Install Robot Operating System (ROS) and operate. Communication using ROS. Integration of microcontrollers and onboard computers. Object recognition. Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) of the environment. Prerequisites: MAE 2320 Dynamics and CS 1110 or CS 1111 or CS 1112 Introduction to Programming, or instructor’s permission.
Requisites: Must have completed MAE 2320 and CS 1110 or CS 1111 or CS 1112
