RELC 5310 - Religions of the Roman Empire An investigation of the diverse religious landscape of the Greco-Roman world from the end of the Roman Republic through the rise of Christianity. We will consider a variety of religious practice and expression, including the Roman public cult, Dionysiac/Orphic cult, Isis cult, Mithras cult, Greco-Roman Magic, Hellenistic Judaism and early Christianity.
