EVAT 5400 - Boundary Layer Meteorology This course provides the student with an understanding of physical processes in the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL), that part of the atmosphere that is affected by the presence of the earth’s surface on a diurnal time scale. These processes are important for understanding the spatial distribution and temporal variability of wind, temperature, moisture, and trace gases in the atmosphere above the surface.
