WGS 4050 - Senior Seminar in Women, Gender and Sexuality: Embodiment This senior seminar explores ways that people inhabit “gender” and “sexuality” (as compounded with race and class relations), using the lens of philosophically distinct forms of embodiment: sensory, energetic, laboring, colonized, commodified, liberated, aestheticism, trans, agnostic, desiring, bio-intimate, and posthuman. Readings integrate theory with ethnography and include material on how the body has figured in social struggle.
