LAW 9316 - Biotechnology and the Law This course examines issues ranging from food and drug regulation, clinical trials, assisted reproductive technology, telemedicine, and stem cell development/regulation to the commercialization of the human body. The course examines ethics, socioeconomics, and market demands for technologies, exploring whether the various issues emerging from biotechnological conflicts are best resolved by regulation, judicial intervention or private negotiation.
