LPPS 3270 - Comparative Social Policy This course examines social policy in the high-income countries of Western Europe, North America, and Australasia. Using a number of frames to define social citizenship, we will consider the scope of the welfare state in advanced economies. In particular, this will include considering the policies that affect the decisions of young adults: from employment, to forming a family, to acquiring housing.
