ENGR 2500 - Introduction to Nanoscience and Technology A hands-on introduction to nanoscience for students of all majors: Microfabrication, nanoscale chemical and biological self-assembly, applications, technological and ethical challenges; Labs ranging from use of scanning tunneling and atomic force microscopes to DNA fingerprinting. No prerequisites. Lecture/discussion meeting + one lab. For first two weeks of registration, enrollment will be limited to 1st and 2nd years (then opened to all).
