CE 6130 - Advanced Geotechnical Engineering This course addresses advanced geotechnical engineering concepts related to slope stability and earth pressures. Topics covered include: stress-strain, shear strength, slope stability analysis, lateral earth pressure, and the design of retaining walls (gravity, sheet-pile, anchored, and braced). Students should have taken CE 3710 (or an equivalent) or obtain instructor permission to enroll.
