ISHU 4270 - Imagining the City: An Interdisciplinary Approach Explores the idea of the city from an interdisciplinary perspective that begins with Plato’s influential rendering of an imaginary city ruled by philosopher-kings and continues through the urban core of modern Charlottesville. Allows students to examine the physical world by sharing ideas, observing, writing, and thinking critically.
