LAW 9001 - Banking Regulation This seminar studies the basic concepts underlying the regulation of depository institutions in the United States, and, where appropriate, contrasts the U.S. regulatory approach with those followed by other countries. Topics include systemic risk and consumer protection, activity restrictions imposed on depository institutions and their affiliates, lending limits and the bank failure process, among others.
