EDHS 9762 - Social & Affective Processes in the Development of Children Provides knowledge of basic theory & research concerning social & affective processes in the development of children, with particular attention to different risk conditions in infancy & childhood, their antecedents & sequelae. Primary focus is the understanding of the role of social contexts (culture, community) & parent-child and family relationships in development. Also examines ways that biological, social & psychological processes interact.
