GNUR 6052 - Epidemiology and World Health Focuses on the distribution and determinants of health-related states or conditions in specified populations at local through global levels, and on the application of this study to control health problems. Students are presented with epidemiologic models and methods in order to assess the health of individuals and populations and to prevent or control health conditions, diseases, and injuries. Content emphasizes a local to global perspective and application of methods to improve health care delivery, health policy, human rights, and ultimately, health. Prerequisite: Graduate standing or instructor permission.
