PSYC 4400 - Approaches to Quantitative Methods in Psychology Many psychological theories nowadays are formulated mathematically. In this course we will survey a variety of approaches to modeling in perception (such as signal detection theory), cognitive psychology (categorization learning) and social psychology. The course has two prerequisites: a course in calculus, and a knowledge of a programming language.
