LAR 7415 - Digital Ecologies

This course introduces computational tools for landscape architects including: fundamentals of computer programming, development of custom modeling tools through scripting, and parametric modeling. Course exercises utilize the Processing language and development environment, Python language in Rhino, and Grasshopper plugin for Rhino. Parallel course discussions introduce and critically assess the agency of computation in landscape architecture.
