NCED 167 - Reading Academy for Teachers of Special Education Students


Assists teachers of struggling readers by identifying the stages of reading development and how to assess students at each stage. Includes a developmental overview of literacy development, reading disability and response to intervention, phonological awareness and phonics, assessment to guide instruction, and comprehension and writing to extend literacy to the content area.
