PSYC 4499 - Psychology and Law: Cognitive and Social Issues Examines issues for which cognitive and social psychology may be able to inform the legal system. Topics include eyewitness testimony, recovered memories, line-ups, expert testimony, jury selection, trial tactics, jury decision making, jury instructions, and the use of statistics in the courtroom. Prerequisite: PSYC 2150 or 2600; PSYC 3006.
