ECON 3650 - Economy of China Reviews China’s economic growth since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and in particular since the move toward the use of market mechanisms in 1978. The theme of the course is that for China, changing economic institutions partly explain growth performance in these years. Prerequisite: ECON 2010.
