CE 7310 - Non-Linear Structural Systems

Discussion of deflection theory. Analysis of arches, suspension bridges, cable supported roof systems, guyed towers, lattice domes and space trusses. Focuses on wind-induced vibration, creep effects, and the visco-elastic behavior of structures. Prerequisite: CE 671, 672, or instructor permission.
