MSE 762 - Modern Composite Technology

Discusses the technology of modern composite materials including basic principles, mechanics, reinforcements, mechanical properties and fracture characteristics, fabrication techniques, and applications. Emphasizes high performance filamentary reinforced materials. Discusses the principles of chemical vapor deposition and the application of this technology to the area of composite materials. (E)
