ENSP 618 - Modern Novel I An examination of works by William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This course will examine the central themes and strategies used by the most distinguished twentieth-century novelists and will consider ways in which those strategies survive today in the modern novel and in other forms of writing.
