COMM 424 - Electronic Commerce This course provides a comprehensive presentation of the concepts, technologies, and tools necessary for designing and implementing information systems that support electronic commerce initiatives. The primary objective is to familiarize students with the current literature related to e-commerce including networking basics, infrastructure architectures, security, front-end/back-end integration, development tools, emerging business models, marketing tactics, online investing, and designing interactive Web sites to enhance usability. Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: Fourth-year Commerce standing or instructor permission.
