CE 420 - Experimental Analyses in Environmental Engineering Increases familiarity with the theory and implementation of laboratory, computational, and field procedures common to environmental engineering. Weekly in-class laboratories alternate between hands-on-laboratory, field or computer experiments, and demonstrations of advanced analytical instrumentation or field sampling procedures. Weekly lectures provide the theoretical background that pertains directly to the laboratory for that week. Topics covered are relevant to water wastewater treatment operations, ground and surface-water hydrology, and the fate and transport of pollutants in the environment. (Y)
