CE 410 - Water Chemistry for Environmental Engineering Teaches the basic principles of inorganic and organic chemistry as applied to problems in environmental engineering, including water and wastewater treatment, contaminant hydrology, and hazardous-waste management. Specific topics include analytical instrumentation, acid-base chemistry, reaction kinetics, precipitation and dissolution, organic and surface chemistry, and chlorine chemistry for water disinfection.
