CJ 403 - Managing Death Investigation (Evolving to “Major Case Management”) This course is designed to equip law enforcement managers and supervisors with the unique skills and management techniques necessary for the overseeing and monitoring of death investigations. The course is designed to provide the tools necessary for the application of the analysis of all aspects of the death case to determine the true cause and manner of death (homicide, suicide, accidental, or natural). The course emphasizes the importance of the role of the managing investigators at the death scene and in correctly interpreting the elements of a case, thereby ensuring more accurate conclusions. Management, personality assessment, and criminal investigative analysis are discussed. (Y)
