STS 204 - Technology, Aggression, and Peace

A study of the human potential for aggression and the relationship of technology to this potential. Students read and discuss a variety of theories about human behavior and the destructive impulse in humankind. Short essays, a research paper, group projects, and oral presentations enable students to build and practice communications skills. (Y)
