Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care Track

Students in the PNP track are provided with the necessary knowledge and skills to practice as NPs in primary care settings. UVA’s program places particular emphasis on understanding the specific healthcare needs of underserved and rural communities with one of the two practicum rotations occurring outside of Albemarle County. Graduates of the PNP track are qualified to sit for the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Exam.
