Common First Year Curriculum
The School of Architecture Undergraduate Curriculum begins with a common first year designed to introduce students to the three primary undergraduate disciplines in the School of Architecture, as well as to provide the diverse disciplinary exposure that undergirds any liberal arts education. In addition to coursework in the School of Architecture, students are strongly encouraged to explore coursework elsewhere across the University through General Education requirements.
During the Spring semester of the first year, students choose an intended major:
Bachelor of Architectural History , Bachelor of Science Architecture , and Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning .
