CE 436 - Stormwater Management

Discusses management of stormwater quantity and quality, especially in urban areas.  Emphasis is on the use of basic hydrologic and water quality principles for controlling stormwater runoff quantity and equality.  The course covers discussions on current stormwater regulations; hydrologic principles and stormwater management modeling analyses; non-point pollution characteristics and impact on water quality; and the design and management of control practices. Prerequisite: CE 315/CE 336 or instructor permission.
