SYS 455 - Systems Engineering Design Colloquium II


This is a colloquium that allows fourth-year students to learn about systems engineering directly from practicing systems engineers, and discuss progress on their Capstone projects. Invited speakers discuss real systems engineering projects, new developments in systems engineering, design, innovation, and project management. Students study methods of effective time management and financial planning and prepare presentations of their 5-year career and financial management plans. Students prepare an intermediate report on their Capstone project, and give an oral presentation of their team project based on the report. (Y)

Prerequisite: Fourth-year standing in systems engineering.
