CE 4600 - Adapting Civil Infrastructure Systems for Climate Change Effective Date 03/14/2024 In this course, civil engineers learn to create resilient infrastructure that withstands climate impacts like floods, droughts, & heat. It covers risk assessment, managing uncertainty, and designing for climate adaptation, with a focus on water, energy, & transport systems. Students will use case studies to consider the effects on various communities, emphasizing equitable solutions, and complete a project on a climate challenge of their choice. Prerequisite: Fourth-year standing and APMA 3110 or APMA 3100
Requisites Must be a fourth year student and have completed APMA 3100 OR APMA 3110
